There’s no doubt in my mind that photographing this spectacular waterfront house, was a fantastic experience, not only because of its beauty but because of the challenges that came with the task. There was a lot of strategic placement involved because of the amount of white and reflective surfaces. It took time to find the ideal spots where I could position myself and the strobes to avoid showing up on the frame or create unwanted shadows. On the other hand, the magnificent resort-style pool area had suffered damage from hurricane Irma, and although they were already conducting repairs, there was a significant amount of post-processing involved trying to visually restore this area to its original beauty.
